1. General Policy
Helping Hub provides digital recruitment-related services, courses, subscriptions, and other services that may be purchased through our website.
Because many of our services are digital or become available immediately after purchase, payments are generally non-refundable once the service has been purchased or provided, subject to any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
2. Candidate Subscriptions
Candidates may create a free account.
Free accounts may have limits on the number of job applications or other available features.
Candidates may purchase a subscription to obtain additional application access or other features.
Subscriptions:
- Do not automatically renew
- Expire at the end of the applicable subscription period
- May be renewed manually by the candidate
- Are generally non-refundable once purchased
After a subscription expires, the candidate may continue using their free account where the account remains available.
3. Courses
Courses purchased through Helping Hub are digital services.
Once access to a course has been provided or the course has been made available to the customer, the payment is generally non-refundable, subject to any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Customers should carefully review the course description and price before completing payment.
4. Other Services
Helping Hub may offer additional services through the Services page.
The applicable price and service description will be displayed before purchase.
Payments for these services are generally non-refundable after purchase or once the service has been provided or started.
Where a separate written agreement specifically provides for a refund, the terms of that agreement will apply.
5. Services Covered by a Written Agreement
In some circumstances, Helping Hub may enter into a separate written agreement with a customer.
If that agreement specifies:
- A refund amount
- A refund condition
- A refund deadline
- A service delivery condition
- Other refund arrangements
the specific written agreement will govern the relevant refund.
Any agreed refund amount and timeframe will be clearly stated in that agreement.
6. Incorrect or Duplicate Payments
If you believe that you have been charged incorrectly or have made a duplicate payment, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may investigate the transaction and, where appropriate, issue a refund for a genuine duplicate or incorrect charge.
7. Cancellation
Where a service has not yet started and cancellation is possible, you may contact us to request cancellation.
However, cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Digital services that have already been purchased, activated, accessed, or started are generally non-refundable, subject to applicable statutory consumer rights.
8. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a customer with a right to a refund, cancellation, repair, replacement, or other remedy, those rights will continue to apply.
9. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under an applicable agreement or applicable law, contact us with:
- Your full name
- Account email address
- Order or transaction reference
- Service purchased
- Date of payment
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant supporting information
Send requests to: helpinghubapp@gmail.com
10. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Where a separate written agreement specifies a refund timeframe, that timeframe will apply.
11. Non-Refundable Services
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing, the following are generally non-refundable:
- Candidate subscriptions
- Digital courses
- Digital services
- Services already provided
- Services that have already started
- Services that have already been accessed or delivered
- Other services expressly identified as non-refundable before purchase
12. Fraudulent or Unauthorised Transactions
If you believe a transaction was made without your authorisation, contact us immediately.
We may investigate the transaction and may request additional information to verify the payment.
Where appropriate, you should also contact your bank or payment provider.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page with the applicable Last Updated date.
